Project Title: Sustainable Investments 2025 Call
An innovation project for the Via Celentane production plant in Solofra
Established in 1977 within the Solofra tanning district, Deviconcia specializes in the production of high-quality sheepskin and goatskin leathers for the apparel, footwear, and leather goods industries.
The investment program for the manufacturing facility encompasses the introduction of new machinery, processing lines, and interconnected systems dedicated to the tanning, retanning, finishing, quality control, and handling stages of leather processing.
The project was developed with the primary objectives of:
- expanding and increasing the flexibility of production capacity;
- digitizing and integrating processing workflows;
- enhancing overall product quality;
- reducing energy consumption, material waste, and environmental impact.
Upgrades include new tanning drums, shaving and fleshing machinery, advanced measuring equipment, automated leather handling units, and machinery equipped with Industry 4.0 technologies.
Furthermore, the initiative incorporates a photovoltaic system of approximately 484 kWp, waste-heat recovery systems, and targeted measures for power consumption optimization.
